
Nancy is charged with securing philanthropic support to ensure the VMS’s financial stability now and in the future. She brings to this role extensive experience in both financial services and fundraising. Nancy began her career working in institutional relationship management at Fidelity Investments and later at Putnam Investments. A desire to work in higher education led to a mid-career shift to fundraising at Brown University Medical School and then at the Institute of Cancer Research in London, UK. In 2013, Nancy joined MIT’s central Resource Development team, where she successfully designed and launched the Individual Giving Office’s first foray into Europe. In 2019, she moved to Harvard University where she served in a management role as a Senior Director on the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Office of Major Gifts. She was delighted to return to MIT in February 2025 to work on behalf the VMS.
Nancy received her BA in English from Boston College.
